VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A local human trafficking shelter for minors has been recently awarded $200,000 to be used for a multi-purpose court.
According to a release, The Hallow by Samaritan House, which is the first shelter for victims of human trafficking in Eastern Virginia for those ages 11-17, was given the award after Virginia State Delegate Michael Feggans proposed adding the funds to the State’s budget.
